Crafts with brass plates

For the holes we had previously drilled, we unscrewed the saw blade and inserted it into the holes. Once all the cuts have been made, we can remove the bracelet from the lathe. 

We recommend buying several blades for the saw, since they will break as we learn to use it. We also recommend not using steel cutters as they will bend the metal and you won't get the desired result. 

With the bracelet out of the lathe, we smooth the rough edges, using the jeweler's metal file and sandpaper. 

It is very important to check that there is no relief or sharp edges in the brass, since they can make cuts in the skin. 

Once the edges are smoothed, we proceed to bend the resulting brass plate with modeling tools and a rubber mallet. If you don't have any modeling tools, you can achieve the same effect by using another object to shape our doll, such as a roll of toilet paper. fil.
